I enjoyed Geisha Performance Party "Ozashiki-asobi" on October 17th.
Place: Cuisine Ryokan Matsumoto Owari-cho, Kanazawa city
Dinner: sea foods hot pot
Geisha girls are from Nishi Chaya District of Kanazawa.
Ms.Hitomi and Ms.Junko played Shami-sen and flute.
Ms.Aki and Ms.Ponta danced soooo lovely.
Four of Foreign monitors for "Ozashiki-asobi" also enjoyed the party
with Geisha Girls.
They are interested in the arts, culture and food in Kanazawa, Japan.
It was a wonderful experience for us to have a traditional Geisha experience.
Ms.Kate & Mr.Peter, Mrs.Evelyn & her father Mr.Alexey
Everyone danced to music round the room !
We had a wonderful time at the Geisha Party.

It is asian music, dance and food festival of autumn.
You'll feel like being in other countries of Asia.
Garden Hotel Kanazawa opened a Japanese dish "Oden"stall.
Ms.Tsuriya and Mr. Miyashita were selling oden !
Have you ever had "Oden"?
"Oden" is a Japanese dish containing all kinds of ingredients cooked
in a special broth of soy sauce, sugar, sake, etc.
It's Japanese Pot-au-feu !
mmm...looks yummy !
We feel like to eat "Oden" during autumn and winter especially.

The 58th Kanazawa Hyakumangoku Festival is being held in
Kanazawa
The main event of today was “Hyakumangoku” Parade that started
from in front of JR Kanazawa Station .
This man, in the photo, wearing “Happi Coat” is our General Manager
prepared ready for the festival.
The parade started from the Tsutsumi-mon Gate and passed through
the front of Garden Hotel Kanazawa.
I could successfully take a photo of actress Mami Kumgaya who acted
as Omatsu, wife of the feudal lord
Our hotel guests who could see the parade from their rooms
were very happy saying their rooms as “VIP seat”
Festival always makes people very happy

Here comes again our big summer event, Kanazawa Hyakumangoku
Festival
Kanazawa Hyakumangoku Festival is the biggest annual festival in
Kanazawa which commemorate Toshiie Maeda, the first lord of the
Kaga clan, entered Kanazawa Castle on 14th June 1583 and built a
strong foundation of Kanazawa.
Kanazawa Hyakumangoku Festival this year will be held from 5th
to 7th June for 3 days
The festival climax is of course the Hyakumangoku Parade which
will start at 2 pm on 6th June (Saturday)
The actor Toshiyuki Nagashima will act as Lord Toshiie Maeda and
the actress Mami Kumagai will act as his wife Matsu.
