Obon (Bon Ceremony) is a representative traditional annual event of Japan.

It is held in August 13th to 15th.

During Obon time, it is believed that spirits of our ancestors are coming home.

Most of families are coming back to their hometown for the Bon ceremony.

It is a good chance for Japanese families to see each other.

How is the summer like in Japan?

I would like to introduce fireworks festivals in Japan.




Fireworks are one of the most typical sights of a Japanese summer.

Many fireworks festivals are held throughout Japan in July and August.

I went to go and see Chunichi Fireworks Festival on Aug.1st in

Kanazawa.

Lots of people were waiting for taking a bus to the festival site.



Many people enjoyed Chunichi fireworks festival.
