I would like to introduce one of popular sightseeing spots in Kanazawa.
The site of a samurai house -The Family of Nomura-
This is part of the ruins of samurai houses.

Today was a little cloudy day
I went to Kenrokuen Garden today because I remembered that my
senior coworker told me “Iris laevigata and Rhododendron indicum
are so beatuful in Kenrokuen Garden”.
Blue-purple and pink flowers were really beautiful
I was lucky that today was “Day of residents of Prefecture”
(Saturday and Sunday), so the admission fee was free for me
I am sorry there seems no such service for foreign guests yet...

On April 16th, Ohmicho-Market at Musashigatsuji has renewed 
It takes about 10minutes walk from our Garden Hotel Kanazawa to
the market.
I went to Ohmicho-Market to look around and had a lunch at
"Ichiba kan".
The market was crowded with people in a festival mood
My lunch was....of course fresh "Sushi"!! mmm...sounds yummy, right?
There are lots of people at the Sushi Bar called "Mori-mori Sushi"
Why don't you try "Kaitenzushi" (a conveyor belt sushi bar or a
revolving sushi bar)?

What a nice day
Spring means flowers
It was a perfect day for cherry-blossom viewing
I went out for a walk around Kenrokuen Garden and Kanazawa Castle
Park
Cherry-blossom was in bloom, especially near the Ishikawamon Gate
It was a warm day and many people were having green tea flavored
ice cream instead of "cherry-blossom viewing dumplings"
...We even have parties under the cherry trees
